Our Story

Founded in 2008 by Joanne Lueck, the British Cane Corso Society (or BCCS) has been a cherished part of the Cane Corso community. In 2025, this team will come together united by a need to revive the BCCS for the future preservation of the Cane Corso Italiano within the UK.

 

Coming from different organisations, backgrounds and groups within the breed community, we are passionate about the need to honour the breed’s historic purpose while empowering modern owners, strengthening public understanding, and fostering a culture of excellence and breed unity in order to protect the Cane Corso for generations to come.
